These are Economic History lecture notes, possibly a lecturer's own notes. There are 6 notebooks within a slipcase. On the slipcase is written in pencil "Dr James Cunnison? Alec Macfie?" The identification of the author of these notes is not certain. There is one letter within volume 6 addressed to Dr Cunnison, but without a comparison of handwriting it has not possible to assign these notes to Dr Cunnison. References within the notes would indicate that they were written after 1924. ...

Helen Milne Lawson Muggoch was born in Kilmarnock in 1915. Helen attended the University of Glasgow from 1933-1937 , taking classes in Botany, Chemistry and Natural Philosophy in her first year; Botany (Higher) and Zoology in her second; Zoology (Double) and Botany (3rd Year) in her third year and Botany (Honours) in her fourth and final year. She was awarded a certificate of merit for her work in the Zoology practical class in 1935. She graduated with a first class honours BSc in Botany in June...
